JD Smith helped created lasting memories from our Global Leadership Summit in May 2019. He came in for our evening events to capture spontaneous & posed pictures. We had over 300 attendees, with 4 evening events. JD’s photos came out awesome. JD’s photos are still being shared between co-workers and will be for years. JD Smith is a collaborator and a thinker. He helped me formulate ideas and plan a video to show what a day in the life of a kindergartner is like. I’ve not done much video before, so we worked together to develop the approach and then JD ran with it. He added some artistic touches to the video with sound and effects that made it look so polished and professional. That video reached 1,300 viewers on social media and will be used to help families who are new to our school district, and perhaps to schools in our country, feel more confident and excited about their child’s kindergarten experience. Video was the perfect medium – no words needed. JD expertly captured the important student-focused activities and joyful learning to help put parents at ease.
